Fugitive of the Week: Holly Wolf

Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced Clearfield County’s Fugitive of the Week for the week of May 21, 2012.

Shaw identified the Fugitive as Holly Wolf, age 23, of DuBois.

Shaw stated that Wolf is wanted for failure to appear at Criminal Call on May 17, 2012.

On November 14, 2011, Officer Josh Johnston of the Sandy Township Police Department, filed a Criminal Complaint charging Wolf with: 1) Acquisition of a Controlled Substance by Fraud, Forgery or Deception, F, 2 Counts; 2) Possession of a Controlled Substance, M, 2 Counts; and 3) Theft By Deception, M3, 2 Counts.

An affidavit of probable Cause filed by Johnston states that in March 2011, the Sandy Township Police Department received a report of two instances of fraudulent acquisition of controlled substances from a pharmacy in Sandy Township. Upon investigation it was found that on two occasions Wolf has used a fictitious name to obtain prescriptions that had been prescribed to another person.

A preliminary hearing was held on Dec. 16, 2011, at which time all charges were held to court. On May 17, 2012,  Wolf failed to appear for Criminal Call and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
