Morrisdale Man Sustains Minor Injuries in Two-vehicle Accident

MORRIS TOWNSHIP – A 33-year-old Morrisdale man sustained minor injuries following a two-vehicle accident at 7:25 a.m. Saturday along Deer Creek Road in Morris Township, the Clearfield-based state police reported.

Vincent N. Humenay Jr., 33, of Morrisdale was traveling eastbound on the Old Turnpike Road, while Eric S. Klinger, 22, of Morrisdale was traveling northbound on Deer Creek Road. Humenay stopped at the intersection before proceeding into it and into the path of the Klinger vehicle.

The Klinger vehicle struck the right side of the Humenay vehicle. Then, both vehicles spun around and struck several street signs on the northeastern corner of the intersection.

Humenay sustained minor injuries in the mishap. Klinger wasn’t injured. Humenay will be cited for a stop sign violation through the district court in Kylertown.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene. Police were assisted by the Morris Township Fire Department.
