- An incident of harassment occurred at approximately 4:10 p.m. Friday in Woodward Township, Clearfield County. A Houtzdale man and woman allegedly engaged in a verbal argument. The woman woke the man and allegedly shoved him, causing his glasses to fall off his face. He allegedly became upset, slapped and threw glass cleaner at her face and head area. Charges will be filed against both.
- No injuries were reported following a two-vehicle accident at 1:50 p.m. Friday along state Route 879 in Pike Township, Clearfield County. Shirley A. Neeper, 74, of Curwensville and Neil J. MacDonald, 90, of Clearfield were traveling westbound. The MacDonald vehicle was ahead of the Neeper vehicle and entered a construction zone. The MacDonald vehicle was stopped by a flagman; however, Neeper wasn’t able to stop in time and rear-ended the MacDonald vehicle. The Neeper vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene. The MacDonald vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene. Neeper will be cited for following too closely. Police were assisted at the scene by the Curwensville Fire Department and PennDOT.
