Margaret M. Parry, 82, formerly of Woodlanddied Thursday at the Ridgeview Elder Care and RehabilitationCenter, Curwensville.
She was born April 21, 1930 in Akron, OH, a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Duda) Biros.
Mrs. Parry was a homemaker. While living inCalifornia, she worked as a secretary and also in various school districts in the cafeteria.
She was a member of St.John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, Hawk Run.
She is survived by three children, John Parry II and his wife, Linda of Monrovia, CA; Anna Marie Pifer of Lewisburg, TN; and Kathy Schpak of Clearfield; five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Alice Mallory of Myrtle Beach, SC.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Parry on Feb. 28, 1997 and whom she wed Dec. 22, 1950 in Akron, OH. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Biros.
Requiem Divine Liturgy will be said at 11 a.m. Monday at the St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, Hawk Run with Fr. Will Rupp officiating. Interment will follow in the Saint John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Hawk Run.
Friends will be received from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. Monday at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield. A Panachida service will be recited at 9:45 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Clearfield Jefferson Community Mental Health Center, 600 Leonard St., Clearfield.
