Benjamin J. Rossi, 85, of DuBois died Friday at Christ the King Manor.
Born Aug. 3, 1926 in Lansford, he was the son of the late Joseph and Anna (Jasper) Rossi.
On Jan. 5, 1955, he married Laurene (Mulgrew) Rossi. She survives.
Since 1963 he was the owner of the Ben Rossi Jeweler’s in DuBois.
He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus #519 in DuBois.
He is survived by his children, Mary Pat Rossi, David Rossi, Richard (Lorena) Rossi, Robert Rossi, Barbara (Steve) Carlson and Paul (Jodi) Rossi, all of DuBois; John (Sue) Rossi of Brockway; Ann Marie Orlandi (Dante) of Lititz; Cathleen (Mike) Stoey of Lewisberry; a brother, Ernest Rossi of Lansford; 17 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one infant sister.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. Sunday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. – 9:45 a.m. Monday at the St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church.
The rosary will be prayed by the family at 5:45 p.m. Sunday.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at the St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant.
Burial will be inSt.CatherineCemetery.
