Fugitive of the Week: Bruce Warholic

CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced Clearfield County’s Fugitive of the Week for the week of May 14, 2012.

Shaw identified the Fugitive as Bruce Warholic, age 48, of Osceola Mills.

Shaw stated that Warholic is wanted for failure to appear at arraignment court on Feb. 18, 2009.

On Dec. 11, 2008, Officer Mark R. Kelly of the Decatur Township Police Department, filed a criminal complaint charging Warholic with: 1) driving under the influence, M; 2) driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked, S; 3) driving vehicle at safe speed, S; 4) careless driving, S; and 5) restraint systems, S.

An affidavit of probable cause filed by Kelly states that on Dec. 11, 2008, the Decatur Township Police Department were dispatched to the scene of a one vehicle accident on state Route 53 in Decatur Township. Upon making contact with the driver of the vehicle, Kelly detected signs of  impairment and Warholic was transported to the Clearfield Hospital for blood testing.

A preliminary hearing was held on Jan. 28, 2009, at which time Warholic failed to appear and all charges were held for court.

Height:            5 feet, 9 inches

Eyes:               Hazel

Hair:                Black
