A person(s) obtained a 64-year-old Weedville man’s debit card number and then used it to make purchases without his permission. The investigation is ongoing. - At 11:30 a.m. Friday, a .22-caliber revolver was recovered from an oil well site along state Route 152 in Highland Township, Elk County. Anyone with information or wishing to claim the revolver should contact the Ridgway-based state police at 814-776-6136.
- An incident of burglary occurred sometime between 12 p.m. May 1 and 10:45 p.m. Saturday at a Gilloully Avenue residence in Ridgway Township, Elk County. A person(s) forced entry into the back door of a 70-year-old Ridgway man’s residence. Once inside the person(s) removed an Arminius HW38, .38-caliber, six-shot revolver.
