- State Parole was assisted in searching for an apartment for a male who is a fugitive from justice. The male wasn’t located.
- An incident of harassment by communication was reported to police. After investigating the incident, it was determined that it’d occurred in another jurisdiction. The complainant was referred to the proper agency.
- A Clearfield Area High School student participated in a fundraiser but didn’t turn in the money. The investigation is ongoing.
- A traffic violation was reported along U.S. Route 322, while a vehicle was swerving along the roadway. Police weren’t able to locate the vehicle.
- A male was reportedly prowling around a Hyde residence. He was located by police, and it was handled without further incident.
- An incident of identity theft was reported to police. Because the complainant lives in Grampian, she was referred to the Clearfield-based state police.
- The Clearfield Borough and Decatur Township police departments and Clearfield County Domestic Relations were assisted in locating a wanted person. The person was taken into custody in Philipsburg.
- An incident of retail theft occurred at the Snappy’s Convenience Store along state Route 879. A Clearfield man fled the store, crossed the roadway and entered the wooded area behind Co-Go’s. Police have the suspect’s identity, and he’ll be arrested for the incident.
- An incident of simple assault occurred at the Clearfield Area High School on the bus ramp. Police have the suspect’s identity, and criminal charges will be filed with the Clearfield County Probation Department.
- An accident was investigated along Washington Avenue. A junior member of the Hyde Fire Department was responding on his pedal bike when he crossed in front of a vehicle that was traveling north along Washington Avenue. The vehicle clipped the bike and the boy was thrown from it. Minor scratches were reported in the mishap.
- Police checked the welfare of a motorist who was sitting along U.S. Route 322 eastbound by the Battery Warehouse. The motorist was gone when police arrived.
- A child was reported lost from the Edgewood Apartments. While responded the complainant called and notified police the child had been located.
- A theft of U.S. Currency is currently being investigated by police.
- A possible burglary and criminal trespass is being investigated in the Hyde area. A male suspect entered a residence along Hall Street, and the resident didn’t know him. The male suspect left; the investigation is ongoing.
- A large fight was reported at the Mo-Jo’s Sports Bar parking lot. Police arrived and discovered the involved persons had already left the scene.
- A motorcycle was reportedly driving recklessly through the Hyde area.
