- No injuries were reported following a single-vehicle accident at 11 p.m. Thursday along state Route 879 in Karthaus Township, Clearfield County. A 22-year-old Frenchville man was traveling westbound when he fell asleep. His vehicle drifted off the left-hand side of the roadway, striking an embankment. He then left the scene without giving notice of the accident to police. The man wasn’t injured and his seatbelt was in use. He was cited for careless driving and immediate notice of accident to police.
- An incident of theft from a motor vehicle occurred sometime between 12:01 a.m. April 21 and 12 a.m. Saturday along Lippert Street in Pike Township, Clearfield County. A person(s) removed a .25-caliber Beretta revolver from a 65-year-old Curwensville man’s vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Clearfield-based state police at 814-857-3800.
