Clearfield Educational Foundation Receives $10,000 Contribution from Clearfield Bank & Trust

CLEARFIELD – Nearly 25 years ago, the Clearfield Educational Foundation and the Clearfield Area Business Community invested in a concept that is today the Clearfield Campus of Lock Haven University.

From small computer classes in the formerHillsdaleSchoolto enrollment of over 400 at the Goldenrod Complex, the LHU Clearfield Campus is an important community and economic force.

Today the Clearfield Educational Foundation received a $10,000 contribution from Clearfield Bank & Trust Company in support of our 2012 Capital Campaign undertaken in February.

According to Chairman, Maureen Gathagan, our campaign goal of $75,000 will ensure that we can sustain a modern and innovative educational facility.  Gathagan publicly thanked and recognized those businesses and individuals that have already donated.

The Clearfield Educational Foundation is dedicated to improving the LHU Clearfield Campus through support of Public Education, Community Development and Economic Initiatives.

Donations can be made payable to the Clearfield Educational Foundation and mailed to: POBOX510,Clearfield, PA 16830.  According to theIRSCode, Section 170(m), a Charitable Contribution is tax deductible.
