- Police are investigating an incident of harassment by communication. A Clearfield woman received text messages of a sexual nature. When the caller was contacted and asked to stop, the texts became threatening. Officers have the other person’s number.
- Police responded to a reported burglar alarm at a local business. The call was cancelled en route as the alarm was set off by employees.
- Police responded to a single-vehicle accident on US Route 322 near Stratton Motors. A Toyota Tundra was driven off of the road. Three passengers were treated at Clearfield Hospital. The driver suffered minor injuries. The accident is under investigation.
- Police received a report of two bicycles that were stolen from a Hyde residence.
- Police received a report of a student who left the high school without authorization.
- Police received a report of a burglary at a local business. The shop was forcibly entered and two hundred feet of electrical wiring was removed.
- Police received a report of a rabid animal at a residence. The incident was taken care of and the Pennsylvania Game Commission was notified.
- Police escorted a lost truck driver to his destination.
- Police responded to check the welfare of a woman and an infant at a business. Police said the woman had become unresponsive. Officers discovered she was having a diabetic emergency. She was soon stabilized by responding emergency medical services before being taken to Clearfield Hospital. The child was uninjured and released to a family member.
- Police were called regarding a Protection From Abuse order and personal property.
- Police received a parking complaint at the intersection of Mapes Avenue and Good Street.
- Police were called for a child custody issue.
- Police arrested a Curwensville man for criminal mischief. The arrest stems from a mailbox on Antes Hill getting smashed in March. Police were assisted by the Pennsylvania State Police.
