Drugs and Guns Recovered in Reynoldsville Man’s Arrest

BROCKWAY – A Brockway man is facing numerous charges after his arrest on Wednesday.

The state police in DuBois reported that the barracks received information that guns from a burglary in Brockway were at a trailer in the village of Westville. Another report was received that heroin was being purchased from this same location.

Troopers proceeded to the trailer, where a consent to search was gained. An occupant in the trailer, Daniel L. Stevenson, 26, allegedly was in possession of a duffel bag that contained a large bag of marijuana, and a handgun (currently involved in an investigation).

Stevenson was taken into custody and a warrant was obtained. Police seized US currency, a bundle of heroin, marijuana, another handgun and various items of drug paraphernalia.

Stevenson was charged and placed in Jefferson County Jail. At the time of the police report, he was awaiting arraignment.
