According to the report, a 16-year-old Houtzdale boy was traveling southbound when he lost control of his vehicle. At that point, it traveled onto the east berm and struck an embankment, where it overturned once. It came to a final rest on its driver’s side door.
The 16-year-old was cited for careless driving. He was wearing his seatbelt and sustained minor injury. The 13-year-old boy wasn’t wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident.
Police were assisted at the scene by the Ramey and Houtzdale fire companies.
