ST. MARYS — The Clearfield Area High Scholl boy’s tennis team dropped to 2-9 on theseason after dropping a 7-2 decision to St. Marys on wednesday afternoon. The match was a make-up from Monday’s nor’easter.
Ian Bookhamer picked up Clearfield’s only singles win, while the tandem of Ben Panebianco and Connor Renaud picked up a doubles victory.

Doubles Results:

Ian Bookhamer and Kunal Patel (clfd) lost in a proset match to Jared Lipsey and Dalton Gennocro (st) 7-9. 3. Ben Panebianco and Connor Renaud (clfd) beat Zack Fox and Derric Luvaas (st) in a proset match 8-4. 4. Vince Owens and Gabe Ford (clfd) lost in a proset match to DJ Challingsworth and Gary Fledderman (st) 4-8.
Clearfield (2-9) will be in action on Tuesday May 1 at Huntingdon, a team that narrowly defeated the Bisons 4-3 back on April 10.
Monday’s April 30 match against Punxsutawney will be rescheduled due to the schoolboard meeting on Monday night.
