CLEARFIELD – Residents in Lawrence Township are being warned of a number of mail thefts from boxes along US Route 322 and Turnpike Avenue Extension.
According to police, in one incident, a tax refund credit/debit card was stolen. The person attempted to use it at numerous out-of-town stores.
Residents are asked to remove their mail from their boxes as soon as possible. Residents who witness suspicious activity are also asked to contact their local police department right away.
