CLEARFIELD – On April 17 from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., the Clearfield Campus of Lock Haven University will be hosting its third annual Career Fair. Local and regional employers will be offering full-time and part-time job opportunities, internship and volunteer opportunities. The career fair is also open to the public.
“Many of our students have expressed interest to start their career and post-college life in the Clearfield area and we look forward to this event each year so our students can stay local and work”, said Matt Checchio, director for marketing at the campus.
Heather Fowler, Professor in the Academic Development and Counseling Department and co-coordinator of the Career Fair, commented that “we’re ecstatic to see employers coming to the fair offering immediate career opportunities. We are also looking forward to anyone from the public seeking employment to attend the fair.”
Anyone attending the fair is encouraged to bring copies of their resume and references for the employers and organizations.
