April 10, 2012
- Officers investigated a 911 hang up call from a Sunset Drive residence. The call was accidental.
- A 32 year old DuBois woman reported that while at the DuBois Mall she and another vehicle backed into each other. When the woman got out to exchange information, the other driver, a 68 year old male, began using vulgarities and threats, then left he scene without exchanging information.
- Wal-Mart employees witnessed a man and woman attempting to take items without paying for them. Upon arrival officers confronted the 40 year old woman and 64 year old man and found they had attempted to take $238.31 worth of merchandise. Charges were filed.
April 11, 2012
- A vehicle driven by a 20 year old Treasure Lake man failed to stop in time to avoid hitting a vehicle driven by a 71 year old DuBois man that was stopped in traffic onBee Line Highway. No injuries and moderate damage reported.
- A 7 year old girl ran from her parents when they were leaving a restaurant at the Commons and went into Petco where she locked herself in the bathroom. She then ran out of Petco and was running through the parking lot until police arrived. Officers handled the situation without incident.
- Officers responded to a Carson Avenue residence for a report of 23 year old man having seizures and the reporting party did not know why. Officers assisted with the patient and found drugs and paraphernalia that fell out of his pocket. The man was transported to DRMC by EMS for treatment.
- A false alarm was reported at Sears
April 12, 2012
- A 35 year old Old Bliss Roadwoman reported 2 unknown males walking around outside her residence. Officers found no signs of the males.
- A 47 year old Woodland woman reported that her wallet was lost or stolen while she was at the glasses store in the DuBois Mall.
- A 24 year old Hanes Drivewoman reported receiving harassing text messages from her 27 year old ex-boyfriend. Officers handled the situation without incident.
- A 59 year old DuBois woman failed to stop her vehicle in time to avoid hitting a vehicle driven by a 72 year old DuBois man that was stopped in traffic onMaple Ave. Severe damage and injuries reported.
- A false alarm was reported at Nothrwest Bank.
- Officers witnessed a 25 year old Brockway man driving erratically on US Route 219. After stopping the vehicle the driver failed several field sobriety tests and was taken to DRMC for a legal blood draw. Charges are pending.
- A False alarm was reported at Lowe’s.
