CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield County Democratic Committee hosted a grand opening event to celebrate the opening of their new headquarters on March 24. Clearfield County Democratic Chairman, Roger Baumgardner stated, “I was pleased with the turnout of interested and dedicated Democrats at the grand opening. The Committee has worked hard towards the milestone of a permanent headquarters and this should help us in our efforts to support Democratic candidates in Clearfield County. In addition to campaign and voter registration information, we will also have information on state, county, and local social services available to county residents.”
He continued, “ Our next big event is this weekend, The 2nd Annual Spring Democratic Dinner at the Expo Building of the Clearfield County Fairgrounds. Dennys’ Beer Barrel Pub is catering the event and there are a limited tickets available at the door. The cost is $10 and the doors open at noon. We are pleased to honor retiring Representative Camille “Bud” George and guest speakers, Charles Dumas, Democratic candidate for the 5th Congressional District and Eugene DePasquale, candidate for Auditor General.
