- A Fallentimber woman made statements to Clearfield, Child, Youth and Family Services, accusing a Madera man of child abuse, knowing the statements were false and harassing toward his family. Police said the woman also caused an inconvenience toward CYS, the state police, and Clearfield Hospital emergency room staff by making the false report. She will be cited.
- An 18-year-old Philipsburg man reported to police that a known man provided him with beer. Charges were filed against the man for providing alcoholic beverages to minors. At the preliminary hearing the young man explained that he knowingly provided false information about who gave him the beer. Charges against the other man were withdrawn and the 18-year-old is facing charges relating to providing false reports.
- Charges are pending against a Beccaria man in a ATV accident. He was taveling on Walnut Street in Smithmill when the accident occurred. Police said he was transported to Altoona Regional for treatment. A warrant will be served to obtain his BAC.
