Ethel E. Granville, 91 of Windy Hill Village in Philipsburg, passed away on April 9, 2012 at Windy Hill Village.
Born March 13, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Ethel (Kephart) Fravel.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Philipsburg and was a former member of Chester Hill NOP Club; she was a homemaker and a mother; and she was a 1939 graduate of Philipsburg High School.
On April 20, 1940, she wed Robert R. Granville in Winchester, VA. He preceded her in death on November 21, 1992.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson Ronald Mann and brother Andrew Fravel.
She is survived by daughters Mary C. Couturiaux of Daytona, FL, Constance “Connie” Mann of Chester Hill, Susan McGee of Chester Hill, and Bobbie Styer of Glen Burnie, MD; and 13 grandchildren.
She was the last of her generation.
Private funeral services will be held at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home in Philipsburg with the Rev. Brenda K. Leigey officiating. Burial will be at Philipsburg Cemetery. There will be no public visitation.
