CURWENSVILLE – Swift maneuvering helped a boater avoid a rock that was dropped from a bridge.
According to Curwensville Borough police, a fisherman was in his boat, approaching the train tressel near the Howes Leather property. The boater reported to police there were several kids on the tressel. One dropped a large rock in an attempted to strick the man. Police said he had to take evasive action to avoid the rock, which missed him by a few feet.
Police reported that several of the kids on the tressel have been identified.
