- At approximately 1:29 p.m. Wednesday, police served an arrest warrant to Melinda Sue Solada of 28 West Scribner Ave. that was issued by Elk County Probation. She was taken into custody and then released into the custody of the Elk County Sheriff’s Department.
- At approximately 3:07 p.m. Wednesday, police were dispatched to the 300 block of South Main Street after receiving a report about a juvenile being assaulted. The victim informed police that she was assaulted by another female juvenile after they’d exited the school bus in the area of Spring Avenue and South Main Street. The investigation is ongoing at this time, and charges are currently pending.
- At approximately 8:24 a.m. Thursday, police were dispatched to the 300 block of Patterson Avenue for a reported burglary. The victim told police that the day before he’d left his wallet inside his residence while going outside to mow his lawn. Approximately an hour later, someone had entered his residence and stole his wallet. Anyone with information is asked to contact the DuBois City Police Department.
