Born Nov. 28, 1950, he was the son of the late G. Wesley and Lois L. (Burns) Reiter.
He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Philipsburg; the Osceola Lodge #515 F&AM; Altoona Consistory; BPO Elks #1173 Philipsburg; Sandy Ridge Sportsman Club and he was a church Sunday School teacher.
He was retired as a sales and purchasing agent for Lee Industries in Philipsburg.
Mr. Reiter was an organ donor.
He was a graduate of P-O High School, class of 1968. He graduated from IUP in 1972.
On April 19, 1980, he wed Carol A. (Kerfoot) Reiter in Osceola Mills.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by nephew Eric Watson and his wife Jamie of Turbotville; and niece Brandy Watson and her fiance Jeff Schell of Philadelphia; daughter Beth A. Reiter and her companion Stephen Gallo of Julian; son David W. Reiter of Philipsburg; and sister Suzanne J. Watson and her husband Lynn of Watsontown.
The funeral will be held on April 5 at 11 a.m. at the Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills with the Rev. Brenda K. Leigey officiating. Burial will be at the Philipsburg Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
A Masonic Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m., followed by the Elks Memorial Service at 7:30, Wednesday night at the funeral home.
