HARRISBURG – Pennsylvania First Lady Susan Corbett has announced the spring tour season will begin April 3 at the Governor’s Residence, 2035 N. Front S., Harrisburg.
“The governor and I look forward to showcasing the art and historic artifacts that reflect the rich heritage of our commonwealth,” Mrs. Corbett said. “The featured art is a true reflection of Pennsylvania’s beauty and history.”
The latest art exhibition, “Pennsylvania: A Commemorative Portrait,” highlights paintings of scenes across the state by the late Nick Ruggieri, a native of Central
Pennsylvania. The exhibition is on loan from the Pennsylvania Historical and
Museum Commission and will be on display until September.
From April 3 to June 30, public tours are available Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tours are free and conducted by professional docents. Reservations are required and can be made by calling the tour line at 717-772-9130.
