Three Injured in Brady Township Accident

BRADY TOWNSHIP – Three people were injured after a two-vehicle accident at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of U.S. Route 219 and Oklahoma Salem Road in Brady Township, Clearfield County, the DuBois-based state police reported.

According to the accident report, a vehicle driven by Robert J. Ganoe, 75, of Clarion was stopped at the intersection. James E. Holt, 47, of New Millport was traveling south on Route 219 behind him.

Holt was distracted and failed to observe the Ganoe vehicle stopped in front of him. The Holt vehicle rear-ended the Ganoe vehicle.

Ganoe sustained moderate injuries as a result of the accident. His passenger, Kynric M. Pell, 73, of Cocoa, FL and Holt’s passenger, Lester A. Holt Sr., 71, of Clearfield sustained minor injuries.

James E. Holt wasn’t injured. All occupants were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident. Police were assisted by the Brady Township Volunteer Fire Department and DuSan Ambulance.
