CLEARFIELD – A new competition is getting the press for the 152nd Clearfield County Fair.

On Friday, officials from the Fair Board announced an Amateur Wine Making Competition. There are three categories contestants can enter their wines into: sweet, semi-sweet and dry. The rules are as follows:

Entries will be judged prior to the fair. A display area will be set up in Expo II Building.

Also returning this year are the culinary contests that debuted at last year’s Clearfield County Fair. Those contests are sponsored by Ethan’s Cafe, Liberty Tax, King Arthur Flour and Fun Central.
