Thelma J. Dotts, 93, a resident of DuBois Nursing Home and formerly of Curwensville, died Thursday at the nursing home.
Born July 15, 1915 in Osceola Mills, she was the daughter of Joseph and Catherine “Cassie” (Moore) Round. Mrs. Dotts was a homemaker and attended the Fruit Hill Presbyterian Church.
On Nov. 11, 1936 in Barnesboro, she wed Lemoyne J. Dotts, who preceded her in death on Jan. 21, 1984. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Rhonda K. Whitaker.
Surviving are three children, Patricia Whitaker and Gloria Barrett and her husband, John, both of Clearfield, and Richard A. Dotts of Curwensville. Also surviving are six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a sister, Vera Spencer of Irvona.
Funeral services for Mrs. Dotts will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc. of Curwensville, with the Rev. Joel Leininger officiating. Interment will be in the Bloomington Cemetery, Curwensville RD.
Friends will be received from 12 p.m. until time of services Monday at the funeral home.
