- A traffic hazard was reported on Clover Hill Road, where a tanker truck became stuck in a ditch. Police assisted with placing flares up for it until a tow truck could arrive and assist the operator.
- The Clearfield Borough Police Department was assisted with an incident along East Pine Street.
- Police continued the investigation into an accident that occurred Monday evening. A vehicle driven by a Houtzdale man impacted the guiderail on Lick Run Hill on the Clearfield – Shawville Highway. The man was transported to the Clearfield Hospital. While at the hospital, he told police the accident was an attempt to end his life. The man later told hospital staff he caused the accident so he’d be admitted to the hospital. He was later flown to the Altoona Hospital due to his injuries. Charges of DUI are pending the completion of the investigation and laboratory testing.
- Police investigated suspicious activity at a local shopping plaza, where a rear door was found open. Several individuals were observed entering the store after hours. Police arrived and determined it was a work crew for a renovation project.
- While on routine patrol, police discovered three vehicles that were parked behind a local restaurant. The vehicles belonged to workers who were painting inside the restaurant on night shift, so they wouldn’t interrupt daily activities.
