It’s time to spring ahead with daylight savings time on Sunday. Residents are reminded to set your clocks forward one hour at 2 a.m.
Daylight savings ends on November 4, and the clocks will need to go back an hour.
According to webexhibits.org, the main purpose of Daylight Saving Time, or “Summer Time” in many places in the world, is to make better use of daylight. We change our clocks during the summer months to move an hour of daylight from the morning to the evening.
