The Clearfield County Election Office has issued a reminder to voters of the important deadlines regarding the upcoming primary election.
The General Primary election has been slated for April 24, a month earlier than usual. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.
The election’s office is currently accepting absentee applications through April 17. The ballots must be returned by 5 p.m. April 20. They must be in the election’s office by this time, not postmarked.
Voters can register to vote through March 26. If voters are mailing these in, they must be postmarked by the aforementioned date.
The Primary Election is limited to only Republicans and Democrats, as there are no referendums on the ballot this time.
