Raymond “Snuffy” Soupart, Jr, 70, of Smithmill, Pa passed away at 1:15 AM, Tuesday, March 6, at the Clearfield Hospital.
He was born on July 2, 1941 at Smithmill, a son of the late Raymond and Myrtle L. (Caldwell) Soupart, Sr.
Raymond was a 1959 graduate of the Madera High School and served in the U.S. Navy for 21 years.
He was a member of the Houtzdale American Legion and the Madera V.F.W. Post 8822.
On Oct. 26, 1968 in Goldsboro, PA he married the Constance (Louella) Soupart who survives in Smithmill.
Raymond is survived by three children; Paul S. Soupart and his wife Nancy of Tamarac, FL; Karen Martin of Smithmill; and Lisa Soupart of Tampa, FL.
He is survived by four grandchildren, Naylan Martin, Felicia and Jessica Soupart and Ted Soupart and his financee Jaime Smith; two step grandchildren also survive,
Isabella and Darren; and a great grandson, Julien Soupart.
Raymond is survived by a sister, Louise Shoff and her husband Robert of Anthem, AZ and their daughter Allison Brakatselos and her son Evan; and a brother, Jack
Soupart and his wife Mary of Clearfield and their son George.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
