Police Report: LTPD

— Police assisted Clearfield Borough Police with a fight in the fairgrounds.  The actors fled prior to police arrival.

— Police received a report of a hit and run that occurred earlier in the week.  The incident is under investigation.

— Police received a report of a traffic violation on the Clearfield-Curwensville Highway.  Police were unable to locate the vehicle.

–Police attempted to serve a Protection from Abuse Order.  Police were unable to make contact with the defendant.

–Police served a PFA order granting emergency custody of a child to his biological mother.

— Police responded to a local motel for a fight in progress.  The parties had fled prior to police arrival.

–Police received a report of damage to a mailbox.  While at the residence, police also took a complaint to check on the welfare of an individual.

— Police responded to a local business for a civil matter that started to get out of hand.  Police handled the incident at the scene.

–Police responded to a one vehicle accident on Old Erie Pike where a Clearfield male lost control of his vehicle striking an embankment then flipping the vehicle on it’s roof.  No injuries were reported.

— Police received a report of children causing a disturbance at Edgewood Apartments.  Police were unable to locate the children.

— Police handed a report of a suspicious vehicle on Old route 153.  The occupants were out for a drive when the passenger became ill.  The driver pulled over until the passenger was feeling better.

— While on routine patrol police discovered a local facility that was left unsecured.   Police searched the area and found everything to be in order.
