- An incident of retail theft occurred at 12:23 p.m. Tuesday at the Johnsonburg Bi-Lo in Ridgway Township, Elk County. A 27-year-old Johnsonburg woman was observed on video taking merchandise without paying for them. Charges of retail theft were filed through the district court.
- An incident of DUI occurred at 12:05 a.m. Thursday along state Route 255 near Ingram’s Garage in Jay Township, Elk County. State police made contact with a 64-year-old Weedville man and discovered he was passed out behind the wheel of a running pick-up truck. He was transported to the Elk Regional Health Center for blood testing. It was determined that his blood alcohol content was over the legal limit. Charges of DUI and several summary violations are pending through the district court.
