Ronald M. Corbet, age 89, formerly of Cardinal Drive in DuBois, PA died Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at the DuBois Regional Medical Center.
Born on May 20, 1922 in Hazen, PA, he was the son of the late Robert S. & Ida I. (Mather) Corbet.
He was married to Dorothy “Dot” M. (Ogorchock) Corbet. She preceded him in death on November 8, 1999.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force during World War II and retired at the rank of Major after 20 years in the military. Ronald was also a partner in Corbet Homes, Inc.
He is survived by one son, Daniel L. Corbet and his wife, Jane of DuBois, PA and one daughter, Cathleen M. Corbet of Rochester, NY, three grandchildren, Beth Ann Gray and her husband, Tracey, Patrick Corbet and Megan Corbet, and two great grandchildren, Madison and Carter Gray.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Lloyd and Roland Corbet and one sister, Leola Corbet.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 11 A.M. from the Goble Baronick Funeral Home with Fr. David Foradori officiating.
Burial will be held in St. Michael Cemetery.
