Donell Oshenic, 83, of DuBois died Saturday at Christ the King Manor.
Born July 20, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Emma (Sprague) Tapper. She was married to Edward A. Oshenic, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Oshenic was a homemaker. She was Methodist by faith and enjoyed walking, shopping and eating out.
She is survived by two children, Voundialee Sycalik and her husband, Paul of Reynoldsville and Edward Oshenic of Stump Creek; three brothers, William Tapper and his wife, Donna of Reynoldsville; Vaughn Tapper of Reynoldsville; and Harold Tapper of Florida; one sister, Carol Winslow of Sharon; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Charles Oshenic, one great-grandchild, Bethany Sycalik and one sister, Nadine Brickel.
Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. until the hour of services Tuesday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Edward Reich officiating.
Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
