GIRARD TOWNSHIP – The state police in Clearfield are asking for the public’s help in locating 14 road signs that were stolen from around Girard Township.
Police said the signs were taken between Feb. 18 and Feb. 19. They include: Hideaway Lane, Apple Lane, Ridge Road, Wood Lane, Buck Run Road, Coudley Station Road, Whitetail Lane, Grange Lane, English Lane, McGovern Lane, John Lane, Odessa Road and two Knobs Road signs. Sign posts were also damaged in the removal of the signs.
The loss is estimated at $750.
Anyone with information into these acts is urged to contact police.
