Gary G. Farcus Jr., 20, died Saturday in Weedville, Jay Township.
Born on Au. 23, 1991 in Punxsutawney, he was the son of Gary G. Farcus Sr. and Laura A. (Johnson) Farcus. They both survive and live in Punxsutawney.
He was a 2010 graduate of DuBois Area High School. He previously worked at The Meadows in DuBois.
He is also survived by his brother, Johnathan “Mike” Farcus of Reynoldsville; two aunts, Janet Gaio of Ridgway and Julie Farcus of DuBois; one great-aunt, Margie Liptak of Brynedale; two uncles, Art Johnson of South Carolina and Ronald Farcus of Whitehall; a great-uncle, Paul Farcus of Cresson; and a maternal grandfather, Richard M. Johnson of Ridgway.
Friends will be received from 12 p.m. -1 p.m. Thursday at the St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church.
A memorial mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Thursday at the church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant.
Burial will be in St. Catherine Cemetery.
