John H. Reasinger, 56, of Falls Creek died Thursday at the DuBois Regional Medical Center.
Born Aug. 29, 1955, he was the son of Jack Reasinger and Rose Makofka Reasinger Buzard. His mother survives and lives in DuBois.
Mr. Reasinger was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He worked for Hallstrom-Clark Electric in DuBois and was a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 5.
He was a member of James J. Patterson Post #813 Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Falls Creek Eagles, the Olympic Athletic Club and the George D. Montgomery American Legion Post 17. He enjoyed hunting and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
On July 3, 1981, he married Joyce A. McCoy. She survives.
He is survived by two sons, John Reasinger and Michael Reasinger, both of Falls Creek and a daughter, Shonna Andrews of AL; four sisters, Paulette and her husband, Tim Bembenic, Paula Jewell and Stacy and her husband, David Bogle, all of DuBois and Jackie and her husband, Kenny, Felder of Falls Creek.
Surviving are two step-sisters, Bridgette and her husband, Matt Cieleski and Shannon and her husband, Steve Plyler and one step-brother, Randy Buzard, all of Brookville and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and his step-father, Donald Buzard.
Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. Sunday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home in DuBois.
A funeral service will be held at 12:15 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Don Ostrom officiating.
Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
Memorials may be placed with the charity of the donor’s choice.
