Diana C. Kosco, 63, of DuBois died Friday at the DuBois Regional Medical Center. Born May 14, 1948 in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Joseph and Loretta (Burns) Yungwirth.
In August 1978, she married Dr. George Kosco, who survives. She was a homemaker and a registered nurse.
Mrs. Kosco was a graduate of the Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing. She was a former member of the Board of Directors of the DuBois Education Foundation and the Free Medical Clinic of DuBois.
She enjoyed reading, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Jason Mahler and his wife, Jennifer of Tropical Acres, FL and Michael Kosco and his wife, Amanda of Pleasant Gap; five brothers, Joseph Yungwirth and his wife, Linda; John Yungwirth and his wife, Betty Lou; Vince Yungwirth and his wife, Terri; Richard Young and his wife, Sue; and Steven Yungwirth and his wife, Shelly; two sisters, Marie Lisanti and her husband, Michael and Loraine Caliguri; three grandchildren, Carlye and Sammie Mahler and Rhylie Kosco.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. and from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
Private funeral services will be held on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
