Osceola Mills and Philipsburg Elementary students reflected on Joe Paterno’s life and legacy through art and writing projects. At OME, students studied portraiture in art class by looking at facial proportions and developing shading skills. JoePa was their subject for this recent project. At PE, students who participate in “fun Fridays” could choose to write an acrostic poem, draw a picture and/or write a tribute about Paterno.
