Traffic Stop Yields Drugs

MORRIS TOWNSHIP – The investigation continues into a traffic stop during which a 21-year-old Philipsburg male and a 20-year-old Curwensville male were found in possession of drugs Thursday in the parking lot of White Distributing in Morris Township.

The Philipsburg-based state police initiated a traffic stop after multiple traffic violations. State police made contact with the two males and allegedly received conflicting information about their travels.

At some point, state police obtained consent to search the vehicle. A K-9 Unit assisted state police, and a search allegedly yielded two, plastic tubes, which contained synthetic marijuana, as well as two glass pipes.
