- An incident of criminal mischief occurred sometime between 5:45 a.m. and 6:15 a.m. Saturday in Greenwood Township, Clearfield County. A person(s) damaged a section of a 71-year-old man’s stone wall at a Mahaffey – Grampian highway address. Damage is estimated at $300. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Clearfield-based state police at 814-857-3800.
- A minor injury was reported following a single-vehicle, alcohol-related accident at 9:41 p.m. Saturday along state Route 53 at its intersection with Heverly Road in Coalport Borough, Clearfield County. A 31-year-old Bellwood man was traveling westbound towards Coalport at which time the man failed to stop at the T-intersection. His vehicle traveled across SR 53, wasn’t able to stop and struck a traffic sign before striking a tree on the western side. Further investigation revealed he was DUI. The man sustained a minor injury, and charges are pending the results of a blood draw.
