CLEARFIELD – The Lawrence Township Police Department reported an accident that saw a local car dealership getting hit by a motor vehicle and trailer.
According to police Andrew Hoover of St. Marys was traveling west on state Route 879 when he lost control of his vehicle. He crossed both the turning lane and easbtound lane of SR 879 and into the parking lot of Country Auto Sales. Police said he struck a pull-behind trailer, which was then pushed into the building.
No injuries were reported. Police said Hoover’s vehicle sustained severe damage, as was the damage to the trailer. The damage to the building was listed as moderate.
