- No injuries were reported following a single-vehicle accident at 2:38 a.m. Monday along Interstate 99 northbound at mile marker 60 in Worth Township, Centre County. Allen T. Vu, 21, of State College lost control of his vehicle due to slippery/icy road conditions. His vehicle exited the east berm and struck a concrete barrier before reentering the roadway and sliding across both lanes of travel. His vehicle came to a final rest facing south along the west berm.
- An incident of criminal mischief occurred sometime between 11 p.m. Thursday and 5 a.m. Friday at an RES Coal job site in Rush Township, Centre County. A person(s) tied an unknown vehicle to an IP Potties’ port-o-johnny before using it to drag the port-o-johnny through the job site. The port-o-johnny was destroyed during the commission of the incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Philipsburg-based state police at 814-342-3370.
