Terrance L. “Terry” Huber, 61, of Hawk Run died Sunday at his residence. Born Nov. 9, 1950 in Philipsburg, he was the son of Patricia (Osewalt) Huber, who survives of Houtzdale, and the late Emil J. Huber Jr.

Mr. Huber was a 1968 graduate of the Moshannon Valley High School. He retired from PennDOT, where he was an assistant county manager. He had previously worked for Northern County Coal Company.

A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he served during Vietnam. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and belonged to Camp Little Brookie.

Mr. Huber was a member of Solid Rock Church, Osceola Mills.

He married Deborah A. (Knepp) Huber, who survives at home, Feb. 26, 1972 in Philipsburg.

He’s survived by one daughter and one son, Jennifer A. Longstreth and her husband, Wayne of Osceola Mills and Shawn C. Huber and his wife, Tina of Clayton, NC.

Also surviving are one brother and one sister, Timothy Huber and his wife, Jammy and Claudia Sedgwick, all of Houtzdale; five grandchildren, Samantha and Emily Sanker, Zackary, Mitchell and Isabella Huber.

He’s preceded in death by his father and a brother, Thomas Huber.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the David K. Dahlgren Funeral Home, 228 N. Centre St. Philipsburg, with Pastor Lee Cowfer officiating. Burial will be in the Philipsburg Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Military honors will be conducted at the funeral home by the Moshannon Valley Independent Honor Guard.
