CAUW Hears About BB/BS Effort

CLEARFIELD – Clearfield Area United Way held their Annual Board Meeting Tuesday at the BPO Elks Lodge in Clearfield and re-organized for upcoming year.

During the lunch, Nicole Norris from the Children’s Aid Society was on had to announce the push to double the volunteers and participants in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Program. She explained that word of mouth is so important and that everyone in attendance knows of someone who would be a great adult volunteer and mentor to a child.

All Member Agencies were asked to keep the United Way in mind if they would like to speak on new programs at an upcoming meeting; they were asked to contact Nancy Pinto at the United Way office.
