- An incident of bad checks occurred sometime between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. Nov. 20, 2011 along South Front Street in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County. A 38-year-old Osceola Mills woman passed a check in the amount of $34.14 that was subsequently returned for insufficient funds. A non-traffic citation will be filed before Magisterial District Judge Allen W. Sinclair.

- An incident of identity theft occurred sometime between 8 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. Friday at a Tyrone Pike address in Rush Township, Centre County. A 30-year-old Wallaceton woman allegedly used a 47-year-old Philipsburg woman’s information, including her social security number, to activate a cellular phone.
