- A Clearfield resident tol police that he received a call from a representative of “TSS Inc.” The caller claims to be from Texas Social Security and attempts to gain social security information. Officers would like to remind residents not to provide any information over the phone.
- Police investigated a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of North Third and Reed Streets. A school bus was traveling west on Reed Street and stopped for the stop sign at the intersection. The bus driver did not see a vehicle traveling north on North Third Street and pulled into the intersection, striking the other vehicle. No injuries were reported. Police were assisted by The Sheriff’s Office, the Clearfield Area School District and Fullington Trailways.
- Police were called to an address on Merrill Street for the theft of controlled substances and a watch. Charges are pending against a known man and woman. The watch has not been located.
- Police received a noise complaint on North Third Street. Officers spoke with the tenant and she turned down the music.
