Animal Mounts Stolen from Goshen Township Camp

GOSHEN TOWNSHIP – Sometime between 2 p.m. Jan. 2 and 9 a.m. Saturday, six animal head mounts were stolen from a Goshen Township camp that’s located on Jack Dent Road, the Clearfield-based state police reported.

According to the report, a person(s) gained entry to a 64-year-old Clearfield man’s camp by forcing open a door. Once inside, they removed four whitetail deer head mounts and two antelope head mounts.

They fled the scene undetected by unknown means. The head mounts are valued at approximately $3,000. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Clearfield-based state police at 814-857-3800.
