CLEARFIELD – New faces will hold the gavel for Clearfield Borough Council and the board of Lawrence Township Supervisors.
On Tuesday, the supervisors voted Glenn Johnston as chairperson. Bill Lawhead, former chair, will now serve as vice-chair. He will also continue as roadmaster.
In Clearfield Borough, Wade Cowder was elected chairperson, with Fred Wisor being elected vice-chair. Cowder steps in for Jim Leitzinger, who served on council for 16 years, a portion of which was as chair. Leitzinger decided not to run for re-election.
